3Dfx Auto-installer instructions:

There are two 3Dfx patch installers, one for Carmageddon/Max Pack, and one for the Splat Pack. They are named '3DfxCarm.exe' and '3DfxSplt.exe' respectively.


To install the 3Dfx patch, simply download and run the appropriate file. They should search for and locate everything all by themselves.

If you have any kind of trouble, I have added the ability to skip the search and GUI. 
Simply copy the installer executable into the game's directory and run it with the 'here' switch. (type "3DfxCarm here" at the command line)

This will run the auto-installer in minimal mode, where is will simply install the patch into the current directory.


The patches installed should function on any 3Dfx voodoo/rush/V2 cards. Banshee cards are unconfirmed, but some people have reported that it is possible to get the game to work.
Remember to run in full (reboot) DOS mode, and check that Glide is properly installed.
